Demystifying Venture Capital for a Diverse Community
Launched in 2019, baby vc is on a mission to demystify and redefine the European Venture Capital industry by building a diverse ecosystem from the ground up.
Our mission is driven by…
1. Inclusivity & Accessible Initiatives
Our initiatives bring diversity to the European VC scene. Women make up 54% of our fellows and we ensure wide representation of all academic backgrounds. Our bootcamp is entirely free, supported by our partners and sponsors.
2. Community Building & Alumni Network
We cultivate a community that thrives on shared learning and mutual support, fostering friendships and empowering members to drive both their own growth and that of the wider European tech and VC ecosystem.
3. Mentorship Programs & Career Opportunities
Our mentorship program guarantees tailored guidance for career readiness in VC, alongside fostering pivotal connections with industry leaders. Out of our spring 2023 cohort, 45% have already broken into VC.
4. Joining Industry Events, Bootcamp and Discussions
Through our bootcamps and active contribution at industry events, baby vc stands as an influential catalyst, driving innovation and adapting to the evolving needs of the tech and VC sectors while lending a voice to a new generation.
5. Expanding throughout Europe
We're dedicated to tailoring bootcamps to new European geographies, enabling aspiring VC and tech professionals to learn and network within their regional ecosystems. We are already in in 8 countries with more to come!
6. Content and Social Media Communication
Through our platforms, we celebrate and amplify the voices and successes within our community, while also enlightening the industry through events and content focused on current trends and complex topics around tech and VC.
